Eran Tzur, Dudi Levy and Erez Lev Ari host Mikha Shitrit, Efrat Gosh and Etti Ankri

The Piyut ’N’ Roll Group, comprising Eran Tzur, Dudi Levy and Erez Lev Ari, had its origin in ‘The Big Piyut Evening’, a Beit Midrash Hillel Singers concert held at the Mann Auditorium (Hekhal Hatarbut), Tel Aviv, in December 2010.

The Group is staging a brand new, once only concert linked with the Piyut Time Festival, and will host Mikha Shitrit, Efrat Gosh and Etti Ankri – three singer-songwriters for whom piyut is a source of inspiration and creativity.

The concert will feature traditional versions of ancient piyutim along with some modern arrangements, the artists also performing their best-known songs. This offers the audience a rare continuum of Jewish music extending over the centuries to the latest hits on Israel radio.

Monday, February 6, 2012, Tel Aviv Museum, Recanati Hall, at 9 p.m.

Tickets: NIS 80, NIS 60 for students (on presentation of

a student card), may be purchased from Castel *8965.
